Upon graduating from college, I became involved in the local community by joining local organizations and attending various events. The main organization that I was involved with was the Newport Beach Foundation. The goal of NBF is to educate and activate the younger generations to get involved with the City and eventually hold positions. After learning about the NBF and its offer, I applied and was accepted to become a member of the Distinguished Citizen Program (DCP). In the DCP, we met with various City officials and learned about how the City operates behind the scenes. I was in the 2nd graduating class which was Fall 2019.
